The Wolf’s Bane graphics are engaging and in keeping with the theme but it is just a skin on an old game.
Players of the older slot machine Wild Wild West: The Great Train Robbery may be very familiar with the machinations of the game because they are identical. However, in the case of The Wolf’s Bane, they have really improved the graphics and they serve the theme much better. The cartoony style of the Wild Wild West was a nice gimmick but ultimately made it look cheap. Whereas with this slot machine the reels are set in a background of an eerie medieval village. The clouds are grey, the fog is thick and the wind gently pushes a tree too and fro. The soundtrack is certainly unsettling and reminiscent of those scenes in horror movies right before the… SCARE!
