Bellagio: Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to announce the extension of its popular “American Modernism” exhibition. The compelling collection now can be viewed through January 2, 2009. Organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the exhibition features masterworks by Georgia O’Keeffe, Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley, Arshile Gorky and others. The period known as American Modernism began at the turn of the 20th century and reached its pinnacle between World War I and World War II. During this time, celebrated artists such as O’Keeffe began experimenting with painting by offering a subjective take on traditional still life and landscape techniques. Jerry's Nugget: Hosting a series of blackjack tournaments on the first Tuesday of each month through December.
