El Cortez: Hosting Men’s NCAA Championship Basketball viewing party daily in its Fiesta Room March 19 through March 22.  Food and beverage items available for purchase starting at $1. Viewing is open to the public and available during the follow times: Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PT’s Pubs and Sierra Gold Taverns: Players will have an opportunity to win a 32-inch LCD TV everyday starting March 1, continuing through March 31. Every 10 points earned by a Golden Reward member will grant them one entry to win an LCD TV. In addition, the LCD TV includes free installation and delivery. Entries will be accumulated every 24-hours beginning at 10 p.m. each night. The daily winner will be posted at 10 p.m. at each of the 32 participating PT’s tavern locations and three Sierra Gold locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley. One LCD TV will be given away per day, with a grand total of 31 in March.

Sahara: Sahara Hotel & Casino is offering special deals for Nevada locals and military personnel to kick off the reopening of Speed – The Ride, for the 2009 spring/summer season.  Throughout the month of March, Nevada locals can enjoy Speed – The Ride, for 50% off.  In addition, throughout March, military personnel can enjoy the ride at 20% off.  Also, anyone who can finish the NASCAR Café’s brand new “The Bomb” Burrito will receive two FREE passes to Speed – The Ride, indefinitely.  Weighing in at 6 pounds and being two-feet in length, “The Bomb” is smothered with guacamole, sour cream and cheese.  A single coaster ride is $10 ($5 for locals; $8 for military throughout March; valid Monday through Thursday on single passes; one per person per day).  Hours of operation are 12 noon to 10 p.m. seven days a week.  There is minimum height requirement of 54 inches.

Jerry’s Nugget: Every day from now through Saturday, March 21, More Club players will have a chance to win a “Next Day Stimulus Cash Reward.”  Players that earn 2,000 More Club points in one day by playing slots, video poker or video keno are eligible to win by swiping their player’s card in the kiosk the next day after earning the required points. Players can then win anywhere from $2 to $80 and are eligible to do so following each day they earn the required points. Next Day Stimulus Cash does not subtract points from a player’s account and it must be redeemed the following day or becomes invalid.

El Cortez: “Stay Cool---Drive Smart” giveaway. The downtown property is nearing the completion of nearly $7 million in renovations on the El Cortez Cabana Suites, formerly known as its Ogden House, to create a boutique hotel that offers guests the spirit of 1950s South Beach with modern and stylish rooms.  To commemorate its completion in March, the El Cortez is giving away a brand new, custom-made 2008 Smart Car decked out in a fresh turquoise color similar to its building’s exterior. The Smart Car touts a one-of-a-kind hood emblem made out of Swarovski crystals and its rims are accented with the same crystals.
