Starting with a look at the rooms, all rooms feature the following amenities: in-room safes, mini-bars*, Bath & Body Works products, plush and oh-so comfortable pillow-top beds, (the same ones found in the rooms at Bellagio!), newly remodeled, upscale cabin décor, 24-hour room service, high speed Internet* and in room movies*. Silverton Casino Lodge now also offers complimentary transportation between the parking lot and main casino entrance.  The new service serves as a way for visitors to avoid the heat as temperatures soar during summer.  Tram service between the casino and the parking lot runs from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.  In the fall of 2008, Silverton will unveil a 1,500-space public parking garage complete with a temperature controlled indoor valet waiting area and VIP parking.

To help diners cool down this summer, Twin Creeks inside Silverton Casino Lodge is giving dinner parties a complimentary bottle of wine. With advance reservation and purchase of two entrees, patrons can choose from a variety of wines including Echelon Vineyards and Robert Mondavi. Silverton’s slot club is called the Discovery Club. Every 500 slot points equals $1 comp dollar for all Silverton Outlets or every 1,000 slot points equals $1 comp dollar at the Las Vegas Bass Pro Shops. Earning points varies by machine. Discovery Club members quality for their card level based on a 6-month rating period. Rating Periods are January 1 to June 30 and July 1 to December 31. When Discovery members reach a new card level (there are 4 different card levels) they are immediately upgraded to that card level.

Every Friday, Discovery Club members can earn five-times points on reel games and two-times points on video poker at Silverton Casino Lodge. The promotion is currently ongoing and running indefinitely. Guests are encouraged to visit the Player’s Club for more details.

In addition to a variety of monthly casino promotions that often include drawings or redeeming points for free slot play, there are several ongoing promotions including video poker tournaments and slot tournaments. Every first and third Thursday of the month, Silverton Discovery Club members can participate in the “Smokin’ Aces” video poker tournament for a share of $1,000 cash. To qualify, Discovery Club members must earn points by playing specially marked machines. Members have eight minutes or 600 credits, which ever comes first, to rack up as many points as possible. The players with the top 10 scores will advance to the final round, which will determine placement for prize money.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. the morning of the tournament and patrons must pay an entry fee of 2,500 points, $5 cash or player loyalty coupons. Seat and round numbers will be assigned at the time of registration.

Silverton Casino Lodge is also serving as the host property for the Western Outdoor News 2008 U.S. Open Bass Fishing Tournament this year, scheduled to take place at Lake Mead August 21 – 27, 2008.  
 
The Western Outdoor News 2008 U.S. Open Bass Fishing Tournament features a gathering of the top competitors in the sport as they vie for the grand prize, which includes $70,000 cash, a Nitro Z9 boat with a Mercury Pro XS 250-hp outboard motor and trailer, championship ring and Ford F-150 truck.  In addition to serving as tournament headquarters, Silverton Casino Lodge will host a variety of other activities including an afternoon lunch for participants at Season’s Buffet and daily activities on the property’s houseboat.
