Greetings!
The 2009 edition of the American Casino Guide is now
at the printer. It has more coupons than ever and in next month's newsletter we
will be giving all of our newsletter subscribers the opportunity to buy the new
Guide at a specially discounted price. See below for more
details.
In our "Casino Profile" section this month we take
a look at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. It's slightly off the Vegas
Strip, but it's a great place to visit with good dining and gambling options.
Our monthlly podcast focuses on visiting Tunica Mississipp's nine
casinos and we also have an article by gaming writer Jean Scott on using "common
sense' when visiting a casino.
Finally, another reminder that we have a new
discussion board on our site. It's the most advanced discussion board available
and it has lots of great features. See below for more
info.
We hope you enjoy these articles and we thank you for
your interest in the American Casino Guide!

| September Podcast
- Visiting Tunica, Mississippi
The American Casino Guide has a new podcast show each month. Hosted by
American Casino Guide author, Steve Bourie, each podcast runs about 20 minutes
and features Steve interviewing a knowledgeable guest from the world of casino
gambling.
For this month's show Steve interviews Webster Franklin, president of
the Tunica Convention and Visitors Bureau.
They discuss tourist attractions for visitors in the greater Tunica area
and then, on a property-by-property basis, they give details on each of the nine
casinos in Tunica.

New Discussion Board added at American Casino Guide
web site
We have removed the old discussion board and replaced
it with the latest technology.
We now have a VBulletin board which has loads of great
features to make it easy for you to read and post questions on any casino
gambling topic.
Additionally, we moved over the posts from the old board and
there are now more than 1,700 posts for you to view. Be sure to stop by and
check it out.

Using Common Sense
in a Casino
by Jean
Scott
Playing smarter in a casino does not necessarily require a lot
of math knowledge and special skills.
It is good, of course, to study the games and learn about
mathematical odds, but what if you don't want to go to "gambler's school." You
just want some simple advice on how to make your gambling bankroll last longer
in a casino.
Okay, let's see what we can do, by just using common-sense
ideas.
