| May Podcast - Howard Schwartz of the Gambler's Book Shop in Las Vegas - Win a FREE Book!
The American Casino Guide has a new podcast show each month. Hosted by American Casino Guide author, Steve Bourie, each podcast runs about 20 minutes and features Steve interviewing a knowledgeable guest from the world of casino gambling.
For this month's show Steve interviews Howard Schwartz, marketing director of America's first gambling bookstore, the Gambler's Book Shop in Las Vegas. They discuss the history of the store, some of its famous visitors, and Howard's recommendations for the best books on a variety of gambling topics.
During the interview Howard gives a two-question trivia quiz. If you can answer both questions correctly, Howard will send you a FREE book based on the gambling subject of your choosing. Video Poker - Luck or Skill?

The debate has long ranged betweena couple of video poker regulars.
"Video poker is a game of skill," says one. "If I play enough, and play well enough, the percentages are going to hold up, and I'm going to make money at the game."
Not so fast, says the other. "This is still gambling, and at gambling there are no guarantees. A bad streak of luck, and there goes your profit."
Answers the first, "There will be bad streaks. But there also will be hot streaks when I win more than expected. In the long run, that will balance out and the percentages will hold up."
And so on, back to square one, with neither budging.
