January Podcast - New Casino Games with John Grochowski
The American Casino Guide has a new podcast show each month. Hosted by American Casino Guide author, Steve Bourie, each podcast runs about 30 minutes and features Steve interviewing a knowledgeable guest from the world of casino gambling.
For the January podcast, Steve interviews syndicated gaming writer John Grochowski about new table games and slot/video poker machines introduced at the November 2008 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) trade show in Las Vegas.
John gives details on some very intriguing new games, including 3D slots and a "Dream Card" video poker game, where you are dealt a sixth card based on whatever card would make it the best possible hand. Some interesting stuff!
While I was writing The Frugal Gambler, my husband, Brad, commented, "I bet no one would ever want to do all the penny-pinching measures you write about-especially when they're on vacation in a casino town."
I agreed. "I doubt that anyone will try to implement all of the hundreds of tips in the book. But people can pick and choose the ones that are easiest and most valuable to them."
