Not what it was cut out to be, Tuesday, 25 August 2009 Written by Diane Hard to find, no signs anywhere. Luckily we live fairly close by and know where it is. Layout of casino is not the best, way too crowded by elevators (only one set) especially if there is something going on in the ballroom. Totally ridiculous!
Been to the buffet several times hoping it will get better, people not very friendly or helpful and food has continued to go down in quality and is way too expensive in all the dining facilities.

its okay, Thursday, 20 August 2009 Written by Jan We came from Spokane and had a hard time finding the place as there is no freeway exit going west. We were looking forward to maybe spending the night but found out that it doesn't have a motel. The slots were okay but we lost pretty quick. We had a sandwich in the deli which was okay but the deli was not very well cleaned up (lots of dirty tables). If they would have a place close by to stay at that wasn't outragously priced we would probably go back and try it again. The parking was nice once we found out where it was. It was not very well marked. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful
Can't wait to get back!!!!, Tuesday, 07 July 2009 Written by Michael & Cindy We got there at around 10pm on July 4th, and didn't have any problems trying to get to the machines we wanted to play. The casino floor didn't feel closed in and there was plenty of walking room. As for parking, we used the valent, easy in-easy out, very nice people. There was one thing we did talk about on the way home, that there were hardly any gals on the floor offering drinks. Saw them when it was last call. But if that was the only thing we found wrong. WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Hoping to be back very soon!!! thank-you 2 of 4 people found the following review helpful
Some reservations, Thursday, 14 May 2009 Written by Lolita The casino atmosphere is lovely with views of the mountains and lots of natural light. One of my biggest problems is that the casino does not provide shuttle buses or other forms of transportation. I am unable to drive a car and would appreciate a shuttle bus or a bus route stop with mass transit. The slots are plentiful but some of the best and hot slots are often taken. The slots themselves are a bit too tight. When the casino first opened, the slots were a little looser. I do like the idea that the casino seems to consistently offer new machines and variety....keep it up! Maybe you should look into the Wizard of Oz, Monopoly and Jungle Wild as some favorite additions. I have only eaten at the coffee shop and was disappointed by the food. The quality, variety and value were poor, especially for vegetarians...perhaps some ethnic cuisine would be helpful. With regard to the buffet, I have spoken to people who have eaten at the buffet and they were not impressed. I appreciate the water provided in ample supply and the coffee is also free and good in the casino. At this stage, the staff seems friendly and accommodating. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful
One of our favorites..., Monday, 20 April 2009 Written by Carla I am a frequent guest of their slots. Won at the beginning, less so now, but I can break even or get a little ahead occasionally. Did get a jackpot and was invited to a party. Their food comp is tremendous at the moment $1 per point - 240 points is $24 worth of food. The buffet is good, and you can get coffee free from the Box Car Deli, if you know about it. Water bottles are in a case by the high end slot machines and convenient. The staff has all been very pleasant to deal with (jackpot/security lost & found/players club) The view is incredible and the atmosphere is elegant, even though it's faux lodge construction. Not as many slots as Tulalip, but a good variety, and they have a nice no smoking section next to the Deli.

never again, Sunday, 15 March 2009 Written by Barb 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful
Great place, great food, Sunday, 15 February 2009 Written by Sarah This place is far better than any of the casinos in the area. The Sunday buffet was wonderful. Delicious all you can eat crabs, prime rib, (Perfect) salads and desserts. (other food looks so good too and fresh) The only complaint I have is, they ran out of vanilla ice cream and fish when we tried to get it. The waiters are efficient and friendly. The slot machines at Snoqualmie payed out and we had so much fun. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful
One of the Best Casinos in Wa, Tuesday, 20 January 2009 Written by Gerald 1 of 6 people found the following review helpful
I won't know if it will get better, because we're, Monday, 12 January 2009 Written by Nicole The first time we went it was very crowded, which was to be expected. However, we tried to get to the buffet, and there was an hour line, and MANY open tabes inside the buffet. This was because they were out of food items and they wanted to make everyone wait for the dinner buffet. We, however got there an hour and a half prior to dinner so we could get lunch. I don't really care for the casino layout, which is a large basketball court shaped room jammed full of slot machines. The view from the club is ok. WE left that day (which was two days after opening day) and decided to come back later. We came back a couple of weeks later in order to play cards and go to the club area. I was wearig high heeled open toed shoes, and because of this, was turned away at the door to the club. The lady there said "no open toed shoes allowed!" I found that very annoying, considering I was forced to wait in line while the attendant at the front of the club was scanning EVERYONE's driver's license! This took about 20 seconds for each person. We complained to a manager, and he told me to walk back over there and ask again after waiting in line. At this point, we decided we would just stick to the Tulalip, which isn't so stuck up. We won't be going again. I felt very much like cattle both times.

Nice, Friday, 02 January 2009 Written by Norma Maybe they've ironed out some of the problems mentioned since we found none of the problems mentioned on Christmas Day. Plenty of parking, courteous staff, prompt drink orders and we left with more money than we arrived with! We had dinner in the buffet, found the food well prepared and plentiful, except they ran out of strawberries for the chocolate fountain, but they probably had delivery problems due to the weather. Some of the best crab I've had, much better than Lucky Eagle! We will definately return when we have the chance.

This Place is Awesome...., Friday, 21 November 2008 Written by Karen I went on a Monday, anyone that went opening weekend I don't feel can give it a fair review, it was bound to be crowded...duh!!! I didn't use the gaming tables so really can't rate them nor did I join the players club, I am only a slot player and I thought the layout of the slots were awesome, also they are very comfortable and you are not sitting on a wobbly stool, plenty of 1¢ slots as well as having 2¢ & 3¢, etc. You have a very good choice to choose from and I had plenty of bonuses and left there with money in my pocket....everyone that I had contact with was very courteous and helpful, my only complaint is the food - I had breakfast in the deli and thought the selection was very minimal and it was priced too high....other than that IT WAS GREAT!! Am looking forward to going back again...and you Muckleshoot players, you can have that place, in my opinion that is the worst in the area.

you have to give it a chance, Sunday, 16 November 2008 Written by Mike C I can't complain about long lines for food and drink, when those are results of thousands of people showing up. I have to believe that opening at 10pm on a Thursday was intentional to try and keep the crowds down. It didnt work, the place was mobbed. But it isnt so bad on a Monday morning or afternoon. I won money at slots and tables, and the players club gives 3x points and you can pretty much redeem for cash, food, or other stuff. I think the place is awesome and reading bad reviews because it is too crowded, is only because they probably never expected to be as popular as they are. And BTW, the valet parking is free and you can get in and out in minutes, so why is everyone bitching about parking. This is the best casino i have been to in a long time, and I can't wait to go back.

Worst Casino in the NW, Saturday, 15 November 2008 Written by mac If it lasts 2 years, I'd be very surprised. They need lessons on queuing. Ridiculous. Far too crowded - space utilization wise. Long lines so frustrating for absolutely everything (bar, cash out, restaurants, elevators...), we left in 1/2 hour. Very poor smoke ventilation - thank God we rode home on a motorcycle to air out our clothes a little. Only saving grace is that it is nice looking and there is a great view from the balconies, but that's not nearly enough to overcome this disaster in waiting. Get rid of 1/3 of the slots, add more elevators, add stairs or escalators to the casino as an alternative to elevators from the parking garage, add signage instead of the hopeless directors for parking, widen roads, add more and permanent shelters by parking for shuttle waiting areas, add a non-smoking gaming area.

Snoqualmie Casino, Thursday, 13 November 2008 Written by Brian Orr 8 of 15 people found the following review helpful
this place is junk, Wednesday, 12 November 2008 Written by darth kathy Scenic drive, beautiful building. Drinks not complimentary because waitress waits for tip. Needs to have a no smoking section. Needs more penny machines. Who pays $16 for a sandwich? Also, anyone worried about emergency exits with only elevator access? This place is stupid. 6 of 12 people found the following review helpful
Classy casino, Monday, 10 November 2008 Written by Bob Wolkens The smoke ventilation is very good. All casinos need lower limit tables, not just one or two. Parking is great 6 of 12 people found the following review helpful
Not people-friendly, Monday, 10 November 2008 Written by Marlene Marcum Went Saturday -- I am a Muckleshoot casino fan -- this casino cannot compete --you cannot get a drink except at over-crowded bar -- if you want to use ATM machine they're in main aisles with people shoving you as you try to get your money -- aisle WAY TOO SMALL!! -- it should have another exit besides down the elevator that you can't get in because of over-crowding. Upside -- beautiful building -- wonderful decor inside -- but, my next casino trip is back to the Muckleshoot!!!!

Snoqualmie Casino review (poor), Saturday, 08 November 2008 Written by John N For being their grand opening - very poor. You have to wait 1 1/2 for your drink and then the cocktail server points and says the bar is over there. The food is very over priced. Table games limits are set too high. Table game dealers dont know what the payouts are; one pays this and the other will pay you more for the same bet, Hard to find the place there are no signs telling you where to turn. Overall very poor I rate this place a 1. |
