This is a decent casino, coming from a non-complaining Canadian as Sam would say. Sam is a fool with no knowledge of Canada or our standards, Sam doesnt mind losing his money with the low percentage lottery scratch system that Washington Tribal casinos use because Sam is a complete idiot.

I have been visiting the Tulalip casino for approx. 5 years and to this day, I have to say there is no other casinmo (and I've frequented the 6 in the closest vicinity), that even come close to Tulalip's spectacular artistic work in carpentry and nor have i won at as frequently, or at all.

I Have only one issue with the casino and that is that your security looks for problems with customers. I have been stopped by security and watched as they harrass others unecessearily.

I would guess if I am playing there should be a definite reason for them to wreck my enjoyment and it truly does ruin a good time and draws unwanted attention to us who like to remain unnoticed.

need free soda machines. For this fact we drive all the way to Emerald Queen or to Angel of the Winds. I think the casino is a nicer casino, but it seems really stuck up there. Slots are tight. Food is horrible. But really the only reason we drive a lot further away to play at the other casinos is that I get thirsty playing those slots all day, and I feel if I'm dumping a few hundred dollars every other day into the slots that I could at least get free soda.

Tulalip Casino: You can win there...

Have spent 16 - 17 hrs a time there. The comp reward isn't great, only $20+ after you get 2,000 points, but the points are fairly easy to get if you move around.

You can win there, however, you should get your own water as the servers don't come around very offen. Just ask the bartenders. Drip coffee is free at some areas too.

This casino has some good energy, lots of slots & table games. I like the variety of the buffet, compared to Muckleshoot/Clearwater & Snoqualmie it has the biggest choices, and well presented.

Not much interaction with staff because you can't find any. We were very comfortable and were kept amused staying that long, and the hotel lobby is a nice resting place when we need it.

Tulalip Casino: so so

We have visted this casino many times as my wife likes to shop at the outlets nearby and I used to enjoy the non-smoking table games which are no longer there. The buffet used to be better, but it is no longer that great and the staff can be grumpy.

I like blackjack mostly and I notice there are rarely tables available with low limits and what tables there are usualy are packed and often smoky. The rewards do not add up very fast.

Last time I asked for a meal comp (and that's about all you can expect when playing table games) it took more than an hour-and-a-half before I told the pit boss forget it. I just can"t wait around all day then I find next time we came it still came off as if we had a meal so I was back at zero again. In short, the comps suck.

Tulalip Casino: Disappointed as well

This place is going downhill. It used to be a really good buffet lunch/dinner. The last time we ate at the buffet, my husband was almost assaulted by the hostess taking tickets. The beverage waitress, waiting on us, said she was very tired and exhausted .

Compared to Snoqualmie Casino buffet this was no better than McDonalds across the street. The slots don't pay out unless you are a whale or a high roller. Go to Angel of the winds casino where it is more friendly or Snoqualmie Buffet for all you can eat crabs and delicious prime rib/seafood or asian food. It's worth the money.

Tulalip Casino: Disappointed/Declining standards

I was a regular at this casino since it opened years ago. It's really going downhill in every aspect. Customer service, courtesy, and food quality was all top notch years ago. With the influx of Canadians from up north, everything has declined except the prices.

Buffet quality was excellent, although not of Vegas quality, still pretty good. Now, no way. You're better off going to an Old Country Buffet instead which is really sad. In Canada, buffets are virtually extinct, except Oriental buffets. Only one casino in Vancouver Canada, the River Rock, has a buffet and it's small and mediocre.

Clearly, management of the Tulalip Casino are catering or focusing a lot on the cross border shoppers who will spend a day or two to take advantage of their $400 duty free exemption while shopping at the outlets next door or in Seattle. Besides, Canadians have been conditoned from an early age not to complain so the casino is not motivated to improve things.

As far as the hotel goes, I am surprised they've built one. While this is no Vegas resort/casino, management seem to think it is and are charging outrageous prices. It's a shame, most of the management team have never set foot in any Vegas casino.

I suggest spending your gambling money elsewhere. Hit this casino where it hurts, in their pocket book and maybe then they'll smarten up. However, don't bet on it.

Tulalip Casino: Not like it used to be

This used to be such a great casino along with their buffets. Both have gone downhill in recent years along with their customer service and attitude. Everything is costing more (than the average).

I believe the Canadian clientele is partly to blame. In Canada, oriental buffets are common, but not western. The new hotel is grossly overpriced and is catered to cross border shoppers who are liberal with their spending.

The slots are nothing to write about. The Friday night atmosphere can get rowdy. Management just doesn't care because foolish Canadians will never complain.

WE WENT THERE FOR MY 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, STARTED OUT WELL WITH US ARRIVING TO BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, AND IT WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE.

I WENT TO THE BUFFET WITH MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW AND WAS ATTACKED VERBALLY BY A EMPLOYEE/COOK OVER TOUCHING OF THE WRONG TONGS. AS HE MADE FUN OF ME AFTER WE WALKED AWAY WITH HIS MANAGER AND MY SON IN LAW HEARD HIM THEN IT GOT UGLY AS HE THEN TURNED ON MY SON IN LAW WHO WAS POSSIBLY GOING TO PUNCH HIS LIGHTS OUT.

I WAS EMBARASSED, MY FINGER SNAPPED WHEN HE TORE THE TONGS OUT OF MY HAND ETC. CRYING. THEY DID MAKE IT RIGHT WITH MONEY BACK AND A DINNER GIVEN AT ANOTHER RESTURANT, BUT IT NEVER SHOULD OF HAPPENED.

SOMEONE FORGOT HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. THEN ON SAT NIGHT THE ROOM NEXT TO US TURNED INTO A CHICK FIGHT AFTER 30 MINS I CALLED SECURITY.

SMOKE IS THICK, STUFFY AND HOT A NON SMOKING ROOM LIKE THE OTHERS WE HAVE SEEN WOULD OF PRODUCED MORE GAMBLING FOR SURE. THE MANAGERS THERE ARE VERY WELL TRAINED HOWEVER AND BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

I WILL MAYBE GO BACK NOT SURE YET. NOT IMPRESSED WITH PRICES EITHER. LOVED THE GLASSES IN THE ROOMS BUT NOT FOR 10 BUCKS.
