Great place to spend some free time. The dealers are friendly and make the games fun. Four card poker is fun but usually full. The waiting list is easy to get on and some times you get lucky and called quickly. Wish they had three card too insead of so many Blackjack tables.

Little Creek Casino Resort: Nice stay

My wife and I stopped into this casino and stayed in the hotel, we were very pleased to see they have a full non-smoking casino including table games.

The players club was quite generous. 55-plus gets an extra $5 play over and above the $5 for joining and it was paid in cash so we started with $10 cash each; there was also a meal discount.

I was struck by the fact that the staff without exeption were exremely helpful and freindly both in the hotel and the casino. The rooms were quite inexpensive, we paid $75 for a weekday and were very clean and comfortable. We also noticed they are slightly larger than normal.

The food was pretty good for a medium size casino. Not a huge buffet, but the quality was good and we found quite a few healthy selections. Breakfast was a reasonable $5.99 and we were well satisfied with the quality and quantity. Again, the staff was very freindly.... I am hard pressed to find a downside to our stay.

Little Creek Casino Resort: Mixed Bag

Table Games - A good variety of pretty much every major game, typically limits start pretty low (there's almost always a 3 dollar blackjack game and most of the time limits start at 5 dollars on the other games) On the downside pay back is a little on the crummy side. Blackjack has a large shoe and no surrender and Roulette pays only 35-1 on a single number. They will however rate you for any level of play and you probably will get at least a few bucks back even when betting small.

Machines - Video Poker is horrible... Poor pay scales (7-5 if i remember correctly) and only a handfull of them. Large variety of slots, most of which are probably paying back the state minimum (the only machines you have a realistic chance of winning on here are the meltdown machines which are marked at 98% payback)

Poker Room - Pretty good size, usually $4-$8 and higher. The tournaments have a pretty good structure and can get pretty large.

Restaurants- The Buffet is okay for breakfast, great for lunch (cheaper than dinner and pretty much the same menu, including crab legs) and more expensive but not bad at all for dinner. Seniors also get a sizable discount. The good deals at the buffet get me in the door for the okay gambling. The Oyster Bar and the Restaurant are also a good deal and the portions sizes for the bar menu are pretty good as well for the prices.

Comps -Drinks aren't free when you're gambling, unless you're drinking the free soda they have on the casino floor. Comps aren't bad, every point equals a dollar, and can be used for hotel, restaurant, the gas station etc.

Rooms and amenities - Decent size, clean and comfortable. Occasionally their website offers good deals (I recently got a buy one night get one free offer on their website). Standard rates are cheaper if you have a players club card. The pool is pretty average, there's a hot tub. The workout room is pretty tiny.

Entertainment - Pretty decent lounge in the bar and usually a decent act. Pool table and a couple dart boards. Also they typically get B-, C level entertainment (sometimes better - I.E. Leno) for their show room.

Overall a pretty average place. An okay casino, pretty good food options, decent comps and a good lounge and show room.
