Angel of the Winds Casino: Why do they Sweat the Money so Much?

My friend and I decided to go there to play instead of Snoqualmie or Tulalip like we usually do for blackjack. It was a bit uncomfortable from the start. We bought in for $500 each and were playing for a decent amount of time. Next thing we know, four pit bosses are just staring at us. We can't figure out why until a dealer comes to us and tells us they think we're card counters. Card Counters! In a six deck game! Plus I was losing over $200 and my friend was down at least $1200. There's absolutely no way I am going to play at a casino that is so paranoid about its money that it would make its bigger bettors feel uncomfortable. Why sweat your players like that? As if the casino doesn't make enough money.

Angel of the Winds Casino: good change of pace

nice small town feel casino...the people are nice! slots seem a bit tight but then again what casino in WA isn't tight? Usually always have an enjoyable time there. Katie's kitchen has great specials but their player's card program is a joke. 2000 points for $5.

Not sure what the demominations are but i can tell you that i played there for close to 8 hours and got $5 back...however if you sign up for their totem club, you get things in the mail including some free slot and card table play. All in all, it's a decent casino but it's about 20 minutes farther than tulalip...worth it? Maybe for a change of pace but never going to be my preferred tribal casino.

Angel of the Winds Casino: new and improved?

After all the time waiting for the "new and improved" Angel of the Winds Casino, I was very dissapointed. The food in kate's is the same, grateful for that at least. The slot machines are much tighter and it is a bit confusing as you have to use money for some and tickets for others.

The warmth and friendliness of the old casino is gone. The decor tends to make one feel uncomfortable as the colors actually put a person off. They should sue the person who chose those colors... I miss the real Angel of the Wins.

Angel of the Winds Casino: 1st visit to the new Angels

Wife and I loved the old Angels and played there instead of the " others " close by. Came to the new and improved(?) Angels, got very little play time on the machines, some machines accept your card while others do not,(sort of like the Tulalip) and the waitress screwed up our order twice because she said she didn't need to write it down! It was a disappointment on our 1st visit to the new Angels. Will we be back? Not if the Snoqualmie Casino shows us what it takes with their play, service, food and staff !

Angels recently added and in process of remodeling the old part. I think the big draw before the remodel was the cheap eats (99 cent specials). I hope once the remodel is complete, that they will still offer these specials. They do offer them now but food is held in a hot cart.

The new restaurant they opened had VERY slow service and prices a tad higher then the regulars are used to. Fingers crossed that it will be better once all remodeling is complete. So far it has lost that community feel it used to have.

Could be my luck, but I feel slots have been tighter with this expansion too.
