Fitzgeralds Las Vegas: Not bad, not great

Was a cheap stay and we got what we expected. Asked for a refrigerator and got one...finally. Had to request clean towels the second day.

Wasn't disgusting but wasn't really clean. Slots were NOT LOOSE at all! Still recommend the stay if you want an okay place for a good price.

I stayed there for the first time the week of jan 22 2007 and had a great time.

From the valets to the housekeeping they were very nice and informative on the questions I had.

The vue bar is great played some video poker and the bartenders were always on top of things very friendly.

Great giveaways and drawings every nite. Didnt win much money pretty much broke even but the staff and the people in the hotel/casino made up for that.

I have already scheduled another few days there the week of feb. 12 2007. I will never stay at the other places downtown again. fitzgeralds has got all my business from now on. thanks. steve

Went back to the fitz the days of feb. 12 - 14 2007. My wife and I were there for our 22nd anniversary.

The room they gave us was great even though we didnt spend much time there. We started out at the Vue Bar on the vp machines. Hit 4 of a kind alot and even hit the promotion of 4 - 7's which gets you a 10 dollar food coupon about 3 times.

The food was good. My wife even started to play vp for the first time and really enjoyed it. The people at the front desk were great they let us check in at noon and the people at the Vue Bar were excellent.

It is a fun place you can see the Fremont Street show out on the deck. Fitz has my business from now on.

I stayed once at Fitzgerald's on a Saturday night and came away from the experience determined that I would never do it again.

I also had the buffet once can came away with the same conclusion.

Steve Connelly, an Elvis impersonator, is very good. I wish I could say the same for Larry g. Jones as an impersonator.

Nice place. rooms ok food ok. Don't like some games closed till night or weekend. Nice to see light show at night. Like it down on fremont street can get bus pass 24hrs for $5 can use max cat and deuce buses to get around Las Vegas. Cheaper games then the strip. Also food cheaper downtown.

I have been there twice since the beginning of 08 and on both the tuesdays i have been there on the same vp machine I hit the royal.

The Fitz customer service is great and the staff and the bartenders at the vue bar are great. They shoot the breeze with you and never let your drinks run dry

The Fitz is the best place to stay for comps and friendly service all around. I have been staying there since 06 and won't stay anywhere else.
