Green Valley Ranch Resort: Huge classy casino

Visited here July 2005. Loved this place. Parking is very easy. Self park in garage and walk straight in.

Many food choices. Drinks come fast and easy. All the staff here are very nice.
Did good playing the slots. Star Wars pennies was the best and most fun. I kept getting the bonus round. Played roulette and did okay.

The casino is so huge and spread out. I got turned around and had to ask for help getting out. It wasn't crowded when we were there on a Thursday morning.

We didn't stay at the hotel but did join the players club when we first arrived. Never got anything in the mail, nor email from them. We would've gone back last trip to Vegas if we'd had some incentive.

Green Valley Ranch Resort: An Upscale Alternative to Strip

We have stayed at GVR twice on marketing offers and love the rooms though rack rates combined with the resort fee is over a budget. The rooms are spacious, 450 sf, well appointed and the baths have separate glass enclosed showers with separate tub.

The buffet is very good and the number of fine dining alternatives have recently increased with the expansion of the casino. My favorite restaurant are China Spice for upscale Chinese food and Il Fornaio for Northern Italian.

The pool area is really nice and it includes a sandy beach. The District, shopping and entertainment area, is adjacent to the casino/hotel.

FPVP is offered though Station Casinos uniformly has reduced earned comps to ridiculously low levels.

My wife and I have stayed at the GVR six times in the last two years, and it is our favorite resort in the Vegas area.

Location is great. Far enough away, yet close enough to Strip. Great food, Terrific shopping (The District).
