Diamond Jo Casino Dubuque: new casino, horrible ventilation

This is a new land-based casino. When you first enter, it's like Wow. But after you get in, it is so smokey. For a new building, the ventilation is very poor. I was sitting at an end machine and smoke from a few machines down was choking me. It was on the Saturday of Memorial Day and fairly busy, but you would think that they would have have a way to clean the air. We did not see a waitress, but they did have a self-service beverage machine. We did ask at the bar and found that beer is not complimentary (It was in South Dakota).
The casino is open 24/7 not like the boat that used to close from 3 am to 8 am.

Absolute waste of time to go there. Its fine for the local people, who sit there and play the 5 cents slots all day, but don't waste your money travelling any distance. They are not customer oriented at all.
