Cadillac Jacks Gaming Resort: My Favorite

I get back to Deadwood a couple times a year. I always make sure I get to Cadillac Jacks at least twice each trip...It's the only casino I frequent. Cafe has been updated and has great food and is very reasonably priced.

Small but worthy casino for a fun getaway weekend. Decent packages.
Entertainment (free) is an added weekend bonus. :-)
Drinks & breakfast buffet good. Dinner buffet is fair to OK.
Hotel is nice. Comfortable beds. Check-in is efficient.

First Gold Hotel & Gaming: First Gold

The First Gold is the first casino as you come into Deadwood from the north on Rt. 85. There is not an RV park next door, there is a small RV park across the street and down the hill, a good walk. Deadwood does not allow RV Parking overnight in the casino lots. Most of the lots are quite small.
We got there after 11:00 PM and could not get a player's card as there was no one to help us.
They did have a small food bar with meatballs, mini-corndogs, potatoes and cookies, good for a late night snack.
They have a large variety of slots, but none paid well.

Nice casino in Deadwood. We enjoyed the senior $3.99 buffet.

Lode Star Casino: Decent little casino.

The Lodestar is a decent little casino with lots of access to lots of water recreation areas.

If I could have given a negative 100 for the customer service I would have. Those people are so rude it's amazing that anyone would ever take their money there to spend! I can not belive they are still in business! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Please do not! go there!!!

Rude from the moment you walk in the door and the place is not that impressive a couple hundred machines and a few blackjack tables that have dealers that need a calculator to count! I cannot believe it seriously Santee Sioux Tribe needs to wake up and take a few courses in CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This is the worst casino I have been to. Very unfriendly and rude.

Their coupons come in the middle to later part of the month, if we even get them.

Everytime we go there we say we are not going back. Worst payouts ever. Have never won anything. Mostly $1 and up machines. Have rarely seen anyone win much.

This hotel and casino is one of the best places I have ever stayed. If you want to be treated special come and stay here and enjoy true hospitality.
