Cimarron Casino: Nice and clean

A small casino, but very clean and friendly. We visited for the first time because we were in the area. Recieved $10.00 slot play just for signing up for the players card. People were winning. I think I got good play time for my money. There are no table games; there is virtual blackjack, I did play but didn't like the "feel", live is better! We ate in the cafe, the food was OK for the money.

Silver Buffalo Casino: A true waste

I love going to many different casinos around Oklahoma. The last time I was at Silver Buffalo it was nice, small but worth a visit. They were friendly and private, clean and had many different machines, no cards which is fine with me.

It's been a little over a year since I was last here, now it seems no one cares, rude employees, lots of broken machines, dirty, and nothing fun to play! The word is rugged, sad to see it go that direction. I will not return there again waste of time and money!

Buffalo Run Casino: Buffalo Run

My husband and I go about once every two weeks to this casino and have found that the staff was pleasant and helpfu.

There are times that it is quite smokey in the front part, but we go back to the Joe's Grill where there is less smoke and a quieter atmosphere.

We have not had any problems at this casino, it is fun and the staff is more than willing to help. After reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like a person just wants to stir up trouble.

For all you trouble-makers who feel you weren't treated fair, try paying some respect for your fellow mates and you'll get respect in return!!! Thank You Buffalo Run for the entertainment!!!

Choctaw Casino - Durant: Total stingy casino

I have been going to the Oklahoma casinos for about 4 years now. I used to go to Windstar because I live in Plano and it was closer, or seemed closer, than Choctaw. But when Windstar remodeled and became larger than the law should allow, the jackpots became smaller and smaller. So I started to go to Choctaw and I spend a lot of money - I mean a LOT and I have noticed that the main slots I would play which are mr. moneybags, liberty 7's, gems and jewels and all those in the high roller area, are not paying nearly as much as they used to.

This seems to be since the casino shut down a couple months ago to reset and re microchip the machines. Many regulars talk - we are all like a big club of 'friends' - everyone mentioned that the slots are not paying like they used to. That is what keeps up coming back - the fun of playing and winning.

Most of the time we avid players will put most of the money back, but the winning was at least mutual - win some, play some back in, win some, play some back in. Now it is just play back in and don't win as much.

I have lost a couple thousand in a day playing machines that would usually hit a jackpot or accumulate a nice sizeable amount but it is just not happening anymore.

I know the Choctaw people think that we will still come because we are all hooked and gambling addicts - but remember this people - a crack head does not go the same crack dealer if the crack does not get him high anymore - think about that you Choctaw owners - you will see a huge drop in business just like Winstar.

Native Lights Casino: Loose or Tight Slots?

I have made some money here but lately the slots have been tight and wonder what is going on with that?

I wonder if there are certain days or times of the month that makes a difference? I think Indian Casinos can do what they want. Some have gotten into trouble with the gaming commission for slots being too tight.

I have cut way back on going to casinos because they have been tight lately. If it gets worse I will quit altogether. My friend says the same thing. The casinos don't need to be so greedy they make plenty of money.

Downstream Casino Resort: Great Place!!

We are going back this Sunday for our 3rd stay. We have a difficult time understanding some of the previous negitive comments.
We have consistantly found the staff, from the doormen to front desk staff, to casino floor staff, the VERY best.
Every visit was even better than the last. We have gone to all the local casinos and look forward to Downstream the most.
Our only wish is that it was a couple of hours closer to Wichita.
Our room #821 (they seem to give us the same room each visit), is wonderful. We have NEVER had one problem with housekeeping. My wife and I feel like we are walking into our home when we check into our room.
Again, this will be our third stay and cannot wait for Sunday. If you have not visited in a while, perhaps you need to!!

Fort Sill Apache Casino: Great place

To all the others who have said, "Where is the payout" : I respect your opinions and thoughts though and thank you for posting them.. However, with gambling comes inherit risks of losing money. Having **high expectations** of winning all the time while you are in any casino -- spending thousands or just a few dollars-- is just not realistic. Gambling is exactly that.. .GAMBLING. I am sorry that you feel as though the payouts aren't what you had hoped for. Someday, we hope, all of our ships will come in. IMO, consideration should be given to the quality of the entire experience (not just the payouts).

Customer service at this little casino is a "A-B-C-D" thing (A)bove and (B)eyond the (C)all of (D)uty. All other casino gaming experiences should have this experiential aspect of hospitality. The upgraded facilities make it look like Las Vegas in Oklahoma and the entire experience has changed drastically in the last few years. The friendly service is awesome. The employees there make gaming fun...even when I'm losing my shirt! The TYPE of slots, the games, the Player's Club and all aspects are 5+ in my book. The food is excellent as the menu has expanded...and is amazing cuisine for a low price!! It keeps me there, rather than going across town to eat to come back and play more.

Have I won and lost at Casinos? Sure, you bet. Do I wish that the payouts were more... Absolutely...but I don't **expect** to win. Gambling is entertainment at best..with a hope that winnings exceed payout. But realistically, the HOUSE always wins.

This casino changed the customer gaming experience so dramatically in the last three years that the area can be proud of it -- now. Last year, this little Casino pumped $10 MILLION into the surrounding economy...as far as winners go they boast $465 million in payouts last year alone!! I've been in many places where the atmosphere is way beyond intolerable due to extreme smoke, drug dealings, ladies of the evening about the bar, etc...I would rather lose LOTS of money in this casino...than win BIG in a casino with those negative aspects lurking about.

Give it another shot folks...and being a betting sort... I bet your luck will change...if you just look at things alittle differently.
GREAT CASINO...keep it going. Hear they are building a hotel soon... and they can count me in as a guest!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

WinStar World Casino: This casino is big!

This must be an old review of this wonderful casino. There is more than 519,000 sq. ft of casino floor, six restaurants, almost 2,200 games and over 80 tables. It is one of the top 5 largest casinos in the world.

The RV park has 150 spots and they are opening a brand new 400 room hotel on the 3rd of Sept. 2009. I highly recommend this casino if you are ever in the area, if nothing more than to see the wonderful and huge, fountains inside as well as the 8 different "Themed" areas.

Be sure to try the Steakhouse and the Italian restaurant! Both serve excellent cuisine and have great service as well.

Fort Sill Apache Casino: Don't Waste Your Money

What does it take in Oklahoma to have a casino, that will let you play? You have to spend a lot of money here. And you still dont hit anything. The only machines you see hiting are the $5 and $10 ones. And you have to max bet on all of them. Don’t they know people are broke? And sometimes would just like to play for a little while and relax.

Don’t waste your money here at this casino. The casinos in Lawton, Oklahoma are a joke.

This place is no good. You never get free spins and when you do, it’s the same as what you get on regular spins. And yes, the machines are very bad.

Try to find another place to go.
