Muckleshoot Casino Cheats, Monday, 26 October 2009 Written by b The Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn has become an organization led by thugs and goons. My wife and I have gone there for years celebrating many occasions as well as 'just for fun'. We've spent lots of $ and won a few Jackpots over the years. Until a recent event, I would have recommended going there... BUT, the other night after playing for hours and losing several hundred dollars, my wife won a Jackpot! Yeah, we were happy! We got a little bit of our money back but most importantly we were having a great time. Crowds gathered around to share our excitement while we waited for the staff to bring the money out. Then.. instead of bringing her prize, the manager came out surrounded by a group of aggresive/angry body guards to tell us her id was no good and the Jackpot would not be paid. This was the same id that had been used several times over the past eight years to collect winnings at that same place. They have everything on computer so they knew that. The big boss waved his arms in my wife's face as she cried. Well.. I came unglued and cussed them out! ...then the goons came after me and 'escorted' me off the property leaving her alone in the place to try and reason with them. There is much more to the story but you get the point. They have turned into nothing better than an organized gang of high priced thugs. You might wonder if my wife got her Jackpot after all the drama? The answer is NO! Please don't waste your money there. It's not safe and they discriminate. I'll leave it there. This was my 'Muckleshoot Moment'... 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful

good eats, good fun, Tuesday, 21 July 2009 Written by Madeline I get to go to Muckleshoot Casino a couple times a month when I am lucky. The biggest draw for me are the restaurants. Not so much the deli--still good though. There's a huge room for table games. I play slots and win and lose as normal always hoping to win of course. There's a huge area to smoke in and there's another huge area to get away from the smoke, and it's a nice non-smoker's area. The people are always courteous to me at Muckleshoot, even when my blood pressure is up and I am grumpy. There are enough machines for everyone it seems. And I like the fact I can use my players club points to buy things with, as well, although I wish they had points to apply to a hotel stay, since I don't live in the area. Last, but not least, I enjoy the live music and dance floor in the middle of the casino. There are some great bands that play there, for my free entertainment, to boot! Muckleshoot Casino is my favorite "local" casino. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

slots, Saturday, 04 July 2009 Written by Lucy If they would stop giving out stupid little gifts and maybe allow us to play a little on our money they would soon learn we would still feed it alll back. so they are happy and we feel like we haven't had the kiss of death! When you walk in with $80 and a half-hour later you are leaving the joint and you were playing a penny machine and you were playing twenty-five cents, let me see you feel a bit violated! Do I have anything good to say about the food? No way it sucks! The new buffet is an expensive way to one heck of a stomach ache! Muck needs to look around at some of the other places and maybe reconsider those little trinkets, maybe give us a little play and enjoy letting go of a little money! And for goodness sakes find some cooks! Country Buffet beats that crap! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful
Mucks- Just OK, Sunday, 03 May 2009 Written by Peath13 Slots- have had better luck the last couple of visits. (As in my money has lasted longer.) Have NEVER won anything here. My sister always goes when the in-laws are in town and the in-laws almost always have nice wins $200-400, for her. Darn, I just don't know how she does it! Went to the new non-smoking casino #1 last time, it's much better than the previous situation where non-smoking was right next to the smoking, so only just slightly less smokey. A gal sitting next to me at a penny slots a couple of weeks ago won over $300 on her first $20, and then was up over $100 from the next $20 bill she inserted after she cashed out the bigger winnings. I was very happy for her, she was just saying that she and the hubby were having trouble with money and would probably not be able to do anything special to celebrate an upcoming anniversary. Her night out with the girls really paid off! : ) 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful
A little low-rent..., Monday, 20 April 2009 Written by Carla This casino is being remodeled, so it changes, but overall the atmosphere seems low-rent...one is reminded of green shag carpets, beer and potato chips in front of a T.V for some reason. The best thing about Muckleshoot is that I've won there. Not much staff around, and I nearly had a knock-down with a 90-year old that wanted my seat. Our first buffet was awful, and way too expensive, but the next month there was a new one built elsewhere...there are free coffee stations (with only non-dairy powdered creamer), though we bought our first one because the server at the deli didn't mention it. There is one section of slots near the club that has both the music from the club and the overhead music blaring at you, it's very annoying and unpleasant. It's big and there is a non-smoking building. The comp points don't get you much but you can use them anywhere (candy shop...) and they send coupons and some money just for signing up.

Poker Room Recap, Tuesday, 31 March 2009 Written by Kevin Anderson So whats my beef? * If you are in the huge poker tournament area (holds 140 players) you can just forget about getting service. Yes, they can electronicaly call service to the table for you but dont expect much. I've waited as long as 30-minutes to get a beer....which by the way will cost you more then any other casino arround!!! Beer is $3.25 and well drinks $3.75, down the street at the IronHorse casino beer is $1 and well drinks $1.50 * The food is actually good and fairly priced but forget about ordering if you are in a tournament for two reasons. The first is that you wont get your food for 1/2 price while in a tournament like you do in a live game. Second, even if someone does take your order you will likely be out by the time your food gets to you 3 rounds later so dont bother. * In a $65 tournament only $50 goes into the prize pool. Isn't 30% a big bite for the casino to take? Well, it seems so to me. * They have a really cool electronic board in the tournament room. It keeps you apprized of the time left in each round, the blind increments and time till the next break...I love it! However, they frequently don't use the board to its fullest. Why not always let us know how many entrants remain, the prize pool breakdown, and maybe even the average chip stack... * For a good laugh sign up on their poker email list. You will get frequent emails about upcoming events...but my 9 yr old niece writes more professional emails. "Ray-Ray" needs someone to proof his emails before he sends them. They contain incomplete information and are poorly written...although I do like to be informed when a tournament is canceled. * Bathrooms are a football field away from the tournament room. They really need to build bathrooms off the tornament room! When you go out the poker entrance pick the bathrooms to the left as it is bigger and you wont have to walk by the 20 smokers standing in the isle way leading to the bathroom on the right. Thank God they stopped allowing smoking while at the poker tables! * The "Mucks" are trying to get a morning $30 tourney going which is great! I went up there twice this past week at 10am and there wasnt enough interest, so no game....bummer. * With the increasing popularity of the "spread" no-limit type games it is harder and harder to find an $8-16 or $10-20 limit game anymore. I used to go up to "the Mucks" nearly every day to play $10-20, now it is seldom offered. 7 of 10 people found the following review helpful
Largest Casino in WA Offers the Worst Games, Tuesday, 30 November 1999 Written by handymn The blackjack game has lousy rules (8-decks, dealer hits soft 17, no double after split, no surrender, no resplit aces). DO NOT PLAY VIDEO POKER in WA. Or at least realize you are not really playing video poker, but rather a slot machine that is disguised to look like video poker. The payoffs on the machines are truly random and not dependent on your skill in holding the correct cards. See the WA State Gaming website for more info. Probably the best thing this casino has going for it is the large poker room. They have dozens of tables running and tournaments most days of the week. Overall, if you are looking for value for your gaming dollar, there are other places around to play. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful
For non-smokers too., Tuesday, 30 November 1999 Written by john The main casino is 3/4 smoking and 1/4 for non smokers. I use oxygen for breathing and can hardly smell a smoker smoking next to me. If that is still to much smoking for you there is now a large non smoking casino seperate from the main casino. The food is above average and prices are more than reasonable. Having been to several other casinos in western washington, i would rate this one at the top of the list. |
