Riverspirit Casino - Tulsa
River Spirit - the old Creek Nation has opened and it's a beautiful facility. The restaurants are great although I feel that the buffet is too pricey. The comps are not that good - they keep decreasing the matchplays - at one point it was $10 matchplay for Seniors on Monday and Tuesdays. however. that has now changed to $5 matchplay which seems stupid to me since it is a matchplay. The only thing that did for me was help me utilize my time better - so I stay at home now on Mondays and Tuesdays - $5 matchplay is not worth my time. They have also decreased the monthly comps they used to provide to their guests - which I guess is based on card usage. At one point I was receiving $20 a week freeplay and a buy-one-get-one-free buffet offer. Now that's dwindled to $15 every other week and a $4 discount coupon for the buffet - not my cup of tea for rewarding your frequent guests. I don't go as much as I used to and when I do go I don't even bother to use my card. Maybe with the new year things will change - I'm on a losing streak with this casino so I've changed venues - I'm remembering that all of them are casinos and when I go it's gambling and they really do have the edge - gambling is all about luck and I haven't had much lately. Another disappointing thing to me is that RS keeps changing their slots out - it seems as if they are trying to go all WMS which is not my favorite manufacturer of slot machines. In all fairness, if you are in the area you should definitely try it at least once.
Love it!
This is my favorite Oklahoma casino. I only play slots (mostly pennies), so I can't speak to table games.
I have been there 3 times and each time came out a winner. It is a 5 hour drive for me or I would visit more often. I definitely will visit when the new facility is open.
Creek Nation Tulsa
No Video Poker, all slots are tied to bingo (class II). Live Poker, BJ.
No alcohol served, this allows 18 year olds to play the class II bingo machines.
They are under construction but casino management needs to rethink their business plan.
