I just got back from AC. Ate like a pig in the buffet and played VP the whole week.

The Borgata really is the class act in AC. The food is great, the VP is pretty good odds and the inside is amazing looking.

Stayed in the original tower for one night on my trip to A.C earlier this month. It is definitely the nicest property in the city.

They have good video poker with 9/6 Jacks or better available in all denominations from 25 cents and up.

Blackjack rules are also good because they have all six-deck shoe games.

Had the breakfast buffet which was very good, especially the homemade corned beef hash.

The higher end of Atlantic City. Lots of restaurants.

I've heard that the rooms are excellant. Nice poker room. Nice racebook (OTB). All is what you want to spend.

This is our favorite casino/hotel in Atlantic City because of the abundance of 9/6 JOB video poker machines, room quality, service and restaurants. Modest quarter VP play will result in free room offers for 2 nights mid-week plus cashback even in the summer time.

Rooms are spacious with either bay or boardwalk views. The beds are extremely comfortable, rooms well appointed and the bathroom is worth the price of admission alone.

The buffet, though overpriced, is the best in A.C. and there are numerous options from upscale to a new food court. Our favorite restaurant is NOW, Noodles of the World.

I have not visited the spa, but the indoor pool with jacuzzi is very nice.

Overall Borgata is the best that A. C. offers.

This is by far the best casino/hotel in Atlantic City; it's changed all of Atlantic city since its opening in 2003. Has the most comfortable beds, room amenities, pool/spa & choice of gaming activities.

This is one of the best casino hotels for the value anywhere & certainly the best in Atlantic City - it has great spa/pool/rooms/dining & games.

Nice new building, large and impressive. Many activities, some shopping and great food. But the gaming is no different than the other AC casinos. The payback rates are about the same - pretty low.

Now if someone in AC would open a casino with paybacks along the lines of Las Vegas, they would have a real winner. Botton line, Borgata is great for tourists, not good for players.

The nicest place to play and stay in AC. Good video poker pay tables if you know where to look. Wide variety of the latest and greatest slots.

Rooms have awesome beds, CD players in the clock radio, lots of channels on the TV. refrigerator, coffee maker and floor-to-ceiling windows. Huge showers with adjustable water temp.

Attracts a somewhat younger, boisterous crowd, especially at the table games. If you are just going to play a bit there don't even bother with a slot card.

You must earn at least $5 comp dollars for them to stay in your account and at least $10 comp dollars for any cashback to start accumulating.

It seems hard to earn the slot dollars, especially on VP. If you start by playing slots first, until you get to the $5 threshold, you'll have an easier time with it.

Their slots have probably the best payout in AC and with a bit of luck you'll be able to recycle for a long time and perhaps even come out ahead. You can trade a Harrah's Diamond card for a Borgata black card, which gives you free parking and a $10 admission (in comp dollars only) to the buffet or the players lounge.

If you show them some loyalty, the room comps are not too hard to come by. They usually also throw in comp tix for the nightly comedy show.

Everything there is first class, even the slot tourneys and Bingo sessions. Buffet is probably the best in AC, but I can never find rare prime rib there. If you like tea, ask for the tea box, which has a number of unusual flavors. The desserts, especially the gelatto, are awesome. If you like shrimp, they serve huge ones, already peeled.

I have stayed the Water Club, comped, several times. I was in the standard rooms, which are very nice but seem a tad smaller than the regular tower, or maybe this is my imagination. The views are outstanding. Room is plush, with probably 7 or 8 pillows on top of the exceedingly comfortable bed. Three of them are these huge leather-type pillows.

Biggest complaint is lack of a refrigerator and coffee maker, which are available in the other tower. There is a mini-bar stocked with expensive drinks and a tray on the dresser filled with boxes of goodies such as M&Ms, nuts etc. There also is a large bottle of water and a smaller one of wine on the tray and a "pleasure kit". Remove anything for more that 30 seconds and it's charged to your bill. The stuff isn't cheap so be careful.

The clock radio has an iPod dock so you can play your music, podcasts, without much trouble. I couldn't find the instruction book but figured it out on my own. The TV is a huge high-definition one with tons of HD channels. I could watch it all day. When you arrive in the room it has your name on the TV screen, time, temperature and a welcome message. You can use the remote to check your slot dollars and comp balance, make reservations, TV program guide, check out etc.

The shower has two heads, a falling rain type overhead one and hand held one. I found it difficult to adjust the water temp. One of the heads would shoot cold water, the other warm water. Rooms come with plush his/her robes and slippers. Towels are extra plush and come in brown and teal. Even the drinking glasses are fancy.

Oh yes there are 2 wine glasses and wine menu and two small dishes filled with tiny mint-type candies. You won't be billed if you clean them out. There's also high-tech phone with a touch screen. The cardboard do-not-disturb signs also are unique. You can dial up the excuse as to why you don't want to be disturbed.

Water Club does not allow children so that's a huge relief at the pool. I've seen as many as 45 kids in the pool at one time in the main tower. The main Water Club pool is behind hotel check in area. There is another one upstairs at the spa area. You can use it for free for an hour or two in the morning.

There is a separate hotel check in area and valet parking only. You also could use the surface parking but it's a bit of a hike. I use the regular garage and just hoof it.

It is a rather long walk from the Water Club to the casino. There is a nice lounge with a snack bar, fireplace and places to sit just behind the check in desk and near the outdoor pool.

There is a separate elevator bank for the suites, and higher floors which is almost always monitored. The other elevator bank is monitored at night but it seems anybody could go up those elevators during the day. People are always holding doors open for you.

I like the exclusivity of this tower and the peace and quiet. There is no free wireless internet in the lobby as is the case with the Living Room, the entry way to to older hotel tower. But they'll let you in there with your laptop if you show the Water Club room key. Next time I'm there I'll snap some photos
