Check in was fast. We had a 15 minute wait and did so during prime hours. The front desk was very accommodating, giving us an upgrade without even having to offer any money for it. Their slots were consistent. While I do not play them much, I think i was up a little over our three day trip. The lady was down, but that's all she does is play the slots. Three days, she was only down a hundred or so; there was tons of fluctuation. She won $500 our last day on a penny slot, getting her back to even par. Video Poker, however, has poor pay scales for anyone other than the $5 players. As for their table games, they are standard Harrah's Entertainment rules. Not much odds on craps and poor BJ, both payouts and rules. They are right next to Casino Royale, so why play craps there anyway, right? Overall, it's a great place for someone who is looking to have fun, not be pampered, but be taken care of well. Drinks are quick and strong, atmosphere is great, food us food, and dealers are friendly. I would not hesitate to stay there again, especially if the room is "free."

Nice place to park.

An older casino located in the center of the Las Vegas strip, Harrah's is the best place to park when visiting the strip. Take Desert Inn then hit Paradise or Koval, and park in the rear parking garage. It is free to park there and is a prime location.

Harrah's is a favorite of the budget-conscious tourist and the table games are usually packed and rowdy when I visit. I used to play (and win) at a couple of slots, but the payout on the machines seems to be less so now I avoid gambling here. The casino has a little Keno room for those looking to buck the odds and rack up some loot... good luck, I wouldn't hold my breath. The cocktail waitresses are usually decent here.

The Harrah's buffet is average at best, and unless you have coupons then I'd advise you to go elsewhere. Country music fans will enjoy having a drink at Toby Keith's restaurant. I've never visited, but I've heard decent bands playing while walking past. There are other restaurants here, but nothing that would make me go out of my way.

There is a decent value to be had at Harrah's, and that is the Mac King show. King is a magician/comedian and you can usually find buy 1 ticket/get 1 free coupons for his show. The show is okay, nothing special, but a decent buy if you can't afford tix anywhere else.

Overall, Harrah's is an okay casino that has seen better days. Once the economy bounces back, I predict Harrah's being torn down and replaced by a more attractive casino. Until then, I recommend utilizing Harrah's parking garage and walking the strip... bypass Harrah's casino unless you like being crowded in small walkways by the bottom rung of Vegas travellers.

I've stayed at Harrah's many times and will be there again in 3 weeks. I've stayed at other hotels and keep coming back to Harrah's.

The player's club has great offers as well as great customer service. I like the access to other casinos as well as the Monorail and strip.

We usually eat at Harrah's restaurants and Toby Keith Bar is a must at least once each visit. I've won and lost at Harrah's but always have a good time.

I just love Harrahs!!!

Simply put, I just love Harrahs. We stayed at Harrahs last July and had a fabulous time.
Our room had a very nice view, clean, comfortable and a safe. The location on the strip was extremely nice for sightseeing.

We ate most of our meals at Harrahs as the food was delicious and reasonablly priced.
Loved the slots and won a little. Loved the casino layout. Thoroughly enjoyed Mac King.
The piano bar was fun but the best was Toby Keith's Bar and Grill.

We were treated very good and will always stay at Harrahs.

Don't miss this good time

Visited this place 7/9/08 thru 7/10/08. Great place to play. Won on roulette.

Park next door at Casino Royale, grab a $1 margarita as you walk over to Harrah's.

The best is upstairs. Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill is a must! I had the pulled pork sandwich. Drinks are in jars. Order the Mason Dixion drink. When a Toby video comes on screen, free shots at the bar. The bar tend shoots them straight in your mouth! A great place to hang out.

Stayed here many times. Best spot on the strip. We enjoyed the food and service. We win here, too.

Rooms were always clean, comfortable, and were not noisy. They do not charge an arm and a leg for staying there, either.

I go to Vegas 3-5 times a year.Stayed at Harrahs for the first time in December 2007. I found nothing wrong with the place, but I just have other favorites.

The food was excellent, the Carnaval court is great, the piano bar is great, location is great but for the price I have a few other options that I like better.

I would stay there again if the situation was right but it would be a second choice.

Piano bar and Canival Court are great. But I am a blackjack player and this is not a very good place to play blackjack. Way too many 6 to 5 paying tables

It may not be the glitziest of casinos, but they have some of the best amenities for "normal" people I have ever seen. I have stayed at Harrah's many times, it is always consistently good.

The service is good, the atmosphere is comfortable, not oppulent. It's a place for normal people. Good hotel, GREAT restaurants that are reasonably priced, the piano bar is very entertaining, and the carousel bar is one of the best places in Vegas to just sit, watch the flair bartenders mix up your beverage and enjoy the music!

You can't beat the location, at center Strip, and they have one of the easiest access monorail stations on the strip. The casino is very active, and you will hear a lot of hoop & hollar coming from the table game areas. It is a fun casino with a lot of play choices.

I've never won big in this casino, but I haven't lost big either. You can play a long time on your bankroll, good place to build up reward points. Highly recommended.
